First Lady Melania Trump previewed the 2026 White House Easter Egg Roll, announcing an expanded lineup of exciting activities set to take place on the South Lawn on Monday, April 6, 2026. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, this year’s Easter Egg Roll will take on a special patriotic spirit—bringing families together to celebrate both the joy of Easter and the enduring blessings of liberty that define the American story.
Alongside the traditional Egg Roll and Egg Hunt there will also be a sensory-friendly Egg Hunt—all featuring real eggs generously provided by the American Egg Board, the event’s leading partner. And courtesy of the many public- and private-sector partnerships with the White House Historical Association, children and families will enjoy a day of unparalleled fun, learning, and lasting memories through a variety of engaging activities and interactive experiences, including:
The 2026 celebration will also feature live performances on the Bunny Hop Stage including:

As families exit the South Lawn they will each receive an egg from the Official 2026 White House Easter Egg Set courtesy of the White House Historical Association. Each egg is imprinted with the signatures of President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
Additionally, the White House Easter Egg Roll would not be possible without the support of approximately 500 volunteers who dedicate their time to making the day a memorable experience for children and their families.
