The Energy and Infrastructure program area provides solar, meteorological, and other types of Earth information to aid decision-making related to energy production and management, power systems planning, building energy efficiency and sustainability, and resilient infrastructure. Two major projects are: Prediction Of Worldwide Energy Resources (POWER), which curates satellite and modeling data in free web platforms, and Risk Analysis and Solutions Innovators (RASI), which tailors meteorological and other Earth information to support infrastructure resilience for U.
